Cleaned the MAF since it likely hasn't been done in the past 15 years (I just acquired the car) 😂 It was a little grungy.

Careful. It's not about where the parts are made... it's about quality. Seconds in China are no different than seconds in the US or elsewhere.

^true, there's plenty of high quality products coming from China. They're just branded like they're from somewhere else.
