Wow looks 100% better than the one it's replacing.

Definitely has Murano and Maxima influences from the floating roof. I like the navy blue accents.

Other than the thick C-pillar and front being a little truckish, this appears to be a great improvement. But what the heck happened inside? They totally dropped the ball on the dash and console. It lacks any sort of style, "green", or futurism, which I think buyers in this class like a little of.

they hired the wrong marketing people, who told them they should be different, only for the sake of being different.

They told Toyota that people secretly loved the Pontiac Aztek, so they went to the drawing board to create a sedan version.

the floating roof from nissan and the new camry won't age well.

There's something really frickin awkward about them where the painted body meets the black part.

Only Range Rover does the floating roof right. This one even does the convertible black out look.

Agreed I don't know why it's such a design rage across all types of cars and manufacturers right now, Murano, RX, Bolt, Camry, C-HR, new Terrain, etc etc etc.

So far everyone here is giving positive feedback for the looks. I like the looks too

Much better than the Prius and the 1st gen Leaf. First time I ever gave positive praise for a new car these days.

WAAAAAY better than all the ugly Lexuses right now.

So? The fact that it isn't a full-EV is irrelevant. Nissan took an (IMO) ugly car that size and made it look presentable. Kia and Hyundai both have decent-looking plug-in-hybrid competitors in the Niro and Ioniq. IMO, it's time for Toyota to do the same.

In fact, I did a static (non-test-drive) review of a Toyota C-HR a few days ago, and was not impressed at all. There's another small Toyota that, IMO, looks like it was beat with an ugly stick. And one of the several samples I looked at had the entire lower-dash plastic cover completely sprung out from its proper alignment, blocking the start/stop button...I couldn't snap or fit it back into place. It was a significant screw-up on the assembly line. ****** like that was almost unheard of on the Toyotas I remember from the 1990s....three of which me and/or my family owned.

Better than ALL the current Lexus models? Haha, hardly. I wouldn't consider this better looking than any Lexus model, and there are several I really don't like.

This is still not an attractive car, it's just not as ugly as the original Leaf.

Now, it's time for Nissan to get to work restyling the Juke LOL.
