Just before I sold my 02' SC430, it had 163K miles on it and engine was still very solid. I was wondering if anyone else is driving SC430 with higher miles.

At less than 11k a year, it'll last at least 15 more years if I calculate on 200k miles.

I certainly do not have the most mileage, but today was a milestone for me when my '02 hit 100k miles. This is the first vehicle I have ever kept with this many miles. The amazing thing is that it still feels like a car with much less mileage. It would be hard to say this car has reached it's half-life yet. Has anyone ever experienced a high mileage SC where the engine has started burning oil or transmission started slipping?

Like I mentioned, just before I sold my car, I had 163k miles and engine was still very smooth like it was new. The only thing was that other parts started to fail. My Twin CS Coilovers were going, check engine light was on, my both of my front speakers were starting to rattle, and my transmission started to feel little funny along with few other things. As far as 430 engines are concerned, I have yet to see people having issues with engine. The only thing is like any mechanical parts, they wear out as time passes and being a Lexus, parts are not cheap.

...just walked out to the garage and checked mine...02' sitting @ 152,005...thats half of what was on my 93' LS (305,000),when I sold it...hopefully I'll get many more miles out of this one !!!
