Default 1995 ls400 door ajar light stays on???

When the car is off and all doors are closed the door ajar light, seat belt light ( on the seat belt itself ) and the ignotion key ring light stays on, but when the car is on the door ajar light goes off. it slowly drains my battery so if i dont start my car for 2 days its dead! does anyone have any ideas of where I can start to look for problems ?

Default Possible cause

I would say by your description, you may have a faulty door lock actuator or sensor. I am not very familiar with the system in the ls400, but one of the door lock actuators may not be recognizing tha the door s closed. Someone else is probably more familiar with the system and can help out I'm sure. Just trying to throw out an idea.

Door lock control module, where is it located?I am thinking drivers door panel , but I may be wrong.1995 is totally different from 90-94 door ajar switches.

When the door is open depress the button on the jamb and if the lights do not go off you need to replace the switch. Regardless of the year it will look like this. Its an easy part to replace they do go bad.

Like I said, I read all up on this stuff. This pic is for 94 and older.95 and up door jam switch are totally different. There is no physical switch by the door.I am tryna find out if there is a switch/ computer that controls the locking mechanism inside the door panel
