Almost like Vapor Lock???
Need some thoughts on a very strange occurrence this past weekend. Have a 2016 that has had all scheduled maintenance up to this point, with about 145k miles. Was shopping at the big Club store and after loading the car, drove over to the gas station to fill up. Perhaps a 3-4 minute wait. After pumping gas, the car wouldn't start. Battery Good, Starter Good, you could hear a nice, strong crank, but the engine just didn't want to start, as if there was zero gas getting to her. Tried cranking like this for a few times and nothing. Waited a couple minutes and tried restarting and having the accelerator depressed for a bit, and nothing. She sat at the pump for about 10 - 15 minutes, then finally she turned over with a weak engine start (Tach was a bit lower than normal). Pressed on the accelerator to give her some gas and the engine smoothed out. Before that time, never had a problem starting. Since that time, haven't had a problem starting.
I threw some fuel injector cleaner in the tank after this occurred to clean anything out, but is this a sign of something to come or chalk it up to a one-time fluke?
Thoughts?
