I have recently replaced the starter, powersteering pump, countless brittle lines, full coilovers, tires, and fluids all around,i installed the high output denso alternator, i have also just changed the battery to a fresh yellow top. Now to the bane of my existence. Before I started messing with the battery's or the alternator I'd say about two years ago the alarm worked fine. Auto start and all that then slowly one battery died then the alarm started acting up, I figured the alternator wasn't doing its job because it was basically swimming in powersteering fluid which wasn't charging the battery. Now to present day the viper alarm which is still installed wont auto start it or start with the key, only unlock,lock and make noise(so i was able to place it in valet mode). So here's my issue the car wont crank and start when i turn the key( i can hear everything priming but no crank) the battery is brand new, so is the alternator and starter. The only way to start this damn thing is to brute force it with a 4000 amp wolfbox then turn the key manually. When it comes to electronics im basically mentally...challenged well say. I checked countless fuses they all seem to be good and once its on it runs perfect. Does anyone know what the issue could be with this damn alarm, that could get it to start when I turn the key,because thats where the issue is, it has power to everything, dash all lights up, you hear everything priming but I dont know if the immobilizer is stopping the signal from getting to the starter or whats stopping the starter from engaging But at this point I could care less about the damn alarm, i am currently driving it without the bottom portion of the dash. I do not even know what exact model viper alarm it has because my wonderful brother had it installed. I would be eternally grateful if someone can point me in the way to someone who can bypass all this crap,or rip out this alarm and put it to stock.I just want the key to turn on the car ,and not have to jump start it everytime I want to drive. I am in the north dade/south Broward area. Any tips on by passing the wires would also be helpful at this point. Thanks for your time guys...
