I drive an 2000 es300 when the car is warmed up pretty well, at the traffic light the car will idle a bit from time to time. There is no code or CEL so I’m not sure what that may be. I have 123,000 miles on the car. Does anyone know what that could be?
You mean the engine idles higher than normal? Revs fluctuate?
no it idles normal at about 500 rpms. It’s just when I wait at the traffic light it’ll kind of misfire. I almost want to say it has something to do with the vacuum hose. I’m not exactly sure

Misfires when idle could be spark plug or coil. Definitely need to check live data

yeah the car will kind of shake at idle when I’m waiting at the traffic. it doesn’t do it all the time but it will do it when the car has been sitting outside when it’s hot. I’m guessing it may be just that or a sensor or the vacuum hose
Mine is a 2007 179K miles but I often get a bit of a shake in the steering wheel. When it goes in soon for oil and filter, I will ask to check the mass airflow sensor and clean the fuel flow (butterfly thing) If that fixes it, I'll let ya'll know. Otherwise spark plugs at 200K miles but not for a while yet. Ed

ok thanks please do. I’m almost positive it’s a sensor cause when it’s hot out it’ll shake a bit from time to time. The only other thing it could be is the spark plugs or the vacuum hose. It won’t do it all the time but occasionally when it’s hot out.
