Default 2010 RX350- Transmission oil drain and refill, any post effects?

Hello I have a 2010 RX350 AWD with 190K kms with no transmission fluid change on history record as a maintenance. I have scheduled a transmission oil drain and refill from a nearby toyota dealership and I had few questions before this appointment this saturday through this thread:
  • Will transmission oil drain and refill which would be the first one since the car is bought after the transmission oil drain and refill, will it causes any transmission related issues?
  • Any other considerations I can think of before the transmission oil drain and refill that you can suggest
Looking forward to get your input and experience on this.
Thank you in advance.

190k kilometers is only 118k miles which is just barely broken in for these cars if periodic maintenance is performed, if your transmission shifts good now it will feel exactly the same after drain and fill.
If your car has Tow package it also has an external transmission oil cooler which is much better for tranny, overheating is the killer of transmissions. If you have the cooler your tranny may last for 500k miles with regular fluid changes. If unsure if car has tow package ask the service rep if car has external tranny cooler just behind bumper in front of drivers side wheel.
Ask the service advisor to get the tech to catch a small amount of the used tranny oil in a small bottle, I give them a water bottle. That will give you an idea of how bad the fluid is at start and how many times to change oil over the next month. If tranny fluid starts at black you may have to do 3 drain and fills to get to a semi clear pink / brown fluid which is where you want to be and then every 60k kilometers thereafter. If transmission fluid starts at semi clear pink / brown then 1 drain and fill is enough.

My 2011 fluid was black when I bought it with 175K on the odometer - probably untouched for its lifetime. It honestly shifted fine but I was appalled by the color so I did 3 dump and refills over a few months. Shifts maybe a tiny bit better but I'm confident I extended its life by a bit.
