Default Tools in the trunk

I know that, in the U.S., most of us don't have a jack or other tools to replace or repair a tire because our cars come with run-flat tires instead. But I feel much more comfortable knowing I can handle basic roadside repairs myself. I also don't like seeing the tool compartment empty.

My only concern was the weight of all these tools, but it turned out not to be an issue—the jack is surprisingly light. I also bought a simple tire repair kit from Amazon that fits perfectly in the right-side storage compartment (next to the tow hook).

While reading the owner's manual, I discovered that the convertible comes with a crank tool that can be used to manually close the roof if the normal mechanism fails. I really hope I'll never need it, but I decided to order one anyway. It's more than just a hex wrench.

In addition, I own about ten screwdrivers, but I wanted one that fits perfectly, and I have to say it's a really nice screwdriver (although it doesn't have a Lexus logo on it).

Pictures and part numbers are below.

09111-50131 Floor Jack $219.11
09113-30050 Floor Jack Handle $18.34
09150-50040 Lug Wrench $47.23
99915-10700 Screwdriver $13.26
09120-13030 Bag Tool $12.88
09168-11010 Convertible Top Crank $22.06
