so I searched the FAQ and no luck, where is everyone mounting thier cellphones???
I have a 2002 LS430, 128k, and just started driving it, for the life of me can not figure where to put/place/mount a cell phone..not big on it being on the windshield , any suggestions??
I removed the center console panels below the radio and added a bent piece of magnetic (410) stainless steel.
It is held in place by some 3M double sided sticky pad.
I then put a double ended magnetic mount on the stainless steel.
This is on the passenger side (UK so the reverse of US layout).

Sorry, I just checked the order and it was 1mm thick 430 (not 410) Stainless sheet, and I bought it from an eBay supplier.
It took a little trial and error to get it the right shape to fit in beside the pop-out drawer, but it has been there since late 2021 and hasn't moved.
My phone case has a small piece of steel stuck inside and that holds the phone nice and firmly.
