Does it have cracks radiating out? If it does you can have it repaired so the cracking stops. From the picture I don’t see cracks radiating out so that’s a good sign.

Yeah doesn’t look bad at all. I’d get the Permatex windshield repair kit and fill it in. The stuff is great!

Fix it!
Whether you do it DIY or pay a pro, you need to fix it because that is now a weak spot and the windshield is under all kinds of stress and strain.

Yeah, I am definitely going to fix it but it's going to have to wait until next week. I have zero clue on how long it has been there.
