Default Short guy with an nx needs seat adjustment

I just purchased a NX350 luxury and I have adjusted my seat as high as I can and still need it moved about another inch higher. Does anyone know if spacers can be installed on the seat?
Thanks.

Did you test drive and test the seat before buying?

I did not test all the functions of the car on a test drive....however, that really did not address my question...Thanks for the reply

I'm not tall either (and, according to my annual physical, getting shorter every year), but have resigned myself to not being able to put my elbow out the front window as I used to do as a cool guy in my hot '55 Chev.

Years ago, I had to put spacers under the front seat slide of a '69 Malibu in order to provide better thigh support. If I recall correctly, it was a couple of oversized nuts that slid between the floor and the seat slide. You could see if there's something similar on yours. Alas, I doubt the dealer would be complicit in such a scheme, but I'll bet any auto upholstery shop could do some diagnostic check and help with a solution.

Let us short guys know what you discover!

Unfortunately I believe most auto manufacturers are typically reluctant to alter any of the seat structure or seatbelts due to safety regulations that they've had to comply with. Doing so would most likely result in them possibly being held responsible for any resulting injuries in an accident or other mechanical failures.

Would possibly a high quality seat cushion be of any assistance to you? I know heated and cooled seats wouldn't provide much benefit with a cushion in the way. There may be some specialized installers near you which do automobile alterations for this, I know most typically focus on more in depth assistive devices like peddle extenders and adding steering wheel controls to replace foot peddles. They may have the ability and confidence to fill your needs possibly. Even your dealer may be able to reach out to one of these type of specialty shops too. People in the auto industry would be the most knowledgable to answer your concerns. I hope you find a solution and enjoy your new ride!

There is a company called Seatjackers that make these specific products. You probably will need a custom order for all 4 mounts.
