What’s the length of the LS460 dipstick?
Tech displaced dipstick (don’t ask); Ordered a replacement OEM dipstick, want to check the oil level before the part arrives. probably will use a wire clothes hanger. How long is the OEM oil dipstick?

Your info shows you have a LS430, they aren't the same length. Do you really mean LS460. If I was at home I would go out and measure mine for you. Hopefully someone can help.

Just bought a 2010 LS460; had it delivered from the South here. Dealer’s photos show dipstick in place; it’s now gone. They probably have it, but it’s the Easter weekend.
I’m hesitant to drive the car, not having checked the oil level prior. As I wrote above, I ordered an OEM dipstick.

I did. Also had to change the radiator + hoses, plugs and did a complete brake job. Transmission shifted a bit harsh, replaced transmission fluid, now it drives like a new car, aside from the noisy a/c motor and the yellow-tinted touch display screen (I read that these can be sent out to be rebuilt). The a/c motor replacement is probably at least $1000.
