Window Vent Visors
Been looking for window vent visors for the 500.
Living in Florida, leaving the windows cracked just a bit when you have to park in a lot somewhere in the summer, can be the difference between being microwaved alive and just a broil till the a/c catches up. And also being Florida, Id rather not chance it raining in my windows, plus visors disguise the windows being cracked.
I've already gone as far as to set the a/c recovery speed to high in the personalized settings (helps a lot, but looking for more).
So far Ive bought two sets that are advertised to fit IS300, 350 and 500. Both sets are not profiled correctly.
Was there a door difference between the models, or are these just garbage visors? The window frame has a bit more arch than either of these kits and they just wouldn't fit right if I tried installing them.
Has anyone found a set that:
Actually Fit,
Don't look like 15$ autoparts store visors,
And aren't 500$ Lexus JDM direct.
Really would prefer something low profile to not take away from the car, but at this point I might have to be flexible.
If not, I'm not above making some vent lips out of carbon fiber. Got enough leftover from my last project, that I might just have to.
Thanks!

The Lexus OEM listing specifically says: Please Note: Will not fit 2021-2024 IS 300/350/300h (Chrome Moldings). That right there is a dead giveaway that there is something incompatible between the IS500 and other models. Maybe there isn't, but based on this statement and your own experience, it might be true. At this point you're starting to spend a lot of money that could've been used to just purchase the best OEM part.
Do it the right way and buy OEM if you want quality window visors with perfect fitment. I just saved you $100.
I have seen a very nice outside channel OEM deflector that said it was OEM, but was really expensive, like $250 or so. Also, rumor is the IS350 will fit the front but not the rear…I cannot verify that. Just seen it while looking to get another set.

This is the other one that’s CRAZY expensive at $500 USD! (But does look nice)

As mentioned, Ill make my own before paying some silly price like that. Plastic visors only last a handful of years down here anyways.
Wonder if weathertech dropped the rears because they had fitment (falling off) issues. Looks like it was a fair set.
@EngIceDave Im just north of ya in Jax btw.
Any tentative purchases are still sitting in carts. The plot continues. lol

Actual lexus visors with the black trim instead of chrome
Bought and installed the WellVisor brand in mid April .
They fit correctly and don't look half bad.
These are the clip on with tape style. Black trim and smoked plastic.
They are a bit low profile and slim, don't look out of place on the car, while still being perfectly functional.
To be critical, There are very minor finish imperfections, but it's insignificant. Saved a bunch of cash, they buffed out with plastic polish.

I thought people should know this.
EDIT: I guess the OEM window visors apply the same way. I guess double sided tape doesn't ruin the trim as much as I thought, or nobody cares haha.
