Lexus 12v battery issue - any satisfactory resolution?
As Lexus owner ( RX350h 2023) : the 12v battery had to be replaced twice already and I had the car boosted a dozen time in 2 years. I read many thread and realized many owners have the same issue. The intelligent charger doesn’t work for me as I travel a lot ( airport parking not able to charge) or when I am at in my condo parking/ no place to plug it. Am I the only one finding this unacceptable? Any of you had success with Lexus supporting you with that… like buying the car back at a good price?

Resolved by you not Lexus. Frankly having to add a battery pack to a vehicle to make it reliable is completely ridiculous, I understand why someone might do this of course.

I quote myself: "Resolved, for me." In case there were difficulties with reading comprehension.
I myself find it ridiculous that people buy certain cars based on false advertisements, about range, self-driving, etc. Yes, so different people find different behaviors ridiculous.

Of course you do because you think non stop about a certain company. At least my cars don't leave me stranded.

Rich coming from an individual hanging out in a Lexus forum all day without owning any single Lexus. In fact, that behavior is well beyond ridiculous.
At least I hang out in a forum where I have something to contribute to and learn from. And also have a life, without any stranding at all - since I fixed my own problem and also helped others.
I own 5 Toyota's and one Lexus. I've owned dozens of Toyota products over the decades likely more than anyone on this forum.
Your fix it a hack, Lexus needs to fix this for all people not force them to wire in a battery pack.
i keep saying these cars which have dead battery issues is because they got BAD batteries. I have one of the early production 2023 350h and have never had this issue. The car sometimes is sitting in my garage for a week. Just have your battery replaced and enjoy the smooth ride!

My RX was towed to the dealer with a dead battery. Dealer charged it and refused to replace it under warranty because "it tested good" after being recharged. They said Lexus wouldn't authorize replacement.

Finally my dealer was honest enough to tell me that this is a known issue, and if you don’t drive the car often enough the battery do not have time to recharge. This is unacceptable obviously and a conception problem with the hybrid and electric car. They put in an intelligent charger for free.
Did they change something in 24? Our 24 350h has had none of this in a year of ownership.
I find myself asking the same question as you. My 2024 just sat in an unheated garage for 15 days in Pennsylvania while I was out of town. It started right up when I returned. This is the 2nd time I have done this in the last 3 months.

Maybe some, but not in my case. Our battery tests out fine. The issue is random increased parasitic losses in our case. Sometimes the battery will go a week before it drops to 12.4v. Sometimes it will do it in a couple of days. Once, it completely died in less than two days of sitting. I have a battery monitor so I can see when the losses occur. When the battery drops to 12.4, I charge it. I also installed a the Bluetooth jump starter so I don't have to worry about it stranding my partner.
