Default 95ls after 23 yrs on here ,i am giving back with a fix

I had this chattering/pinging noise which no one responded to my post. But in research, 2 people mentioned tune up.My mech. mentioned the cap and rotors, which didnt fix it, but changing those forsaken autozone wires to NGK from rockauto fixed it.I see this is common with cap/rotor ignition systems .The same happened to my S500

i recall in my early honda days, the cap/rotors on them are also highly sensitive to the high tension wires to the plugs. OEM/NGK or nothing!
