Both the shifter and glove box LEDs on my RX are burnt out. I wonder if anyone has replaced these two with brighter LEDs, if that is possible.

If so, please post what LEDs you used and if indeed they ended up being much brighter than the original bulbs. I always thought the original bulbs were a little on the dim side compared to the modern cars. .

I researched it and finally bought Auxito bulbs off amazon. I didn't want the bright light of led but did it anyway. I LOVE IT. Like you said they have to be brighter. You don't even realize what you couldn't see. I bought their reverse lights too. Wow a huge help.

Thanks for the post. What size of Auxito bulbs did you buy for the shifter and the glove box that fit?

I actually did the dome and puddle lights. They light up the entire inside of the car. I no longer needed to do the glove box. However for about 12bucks you can buy an entire led light set for your RX that includes the glove box. The shifter I don't know about. The light in mine hasn't worked since I got the car. I just look at the dash to make sure what gear its in. Hope this helps.

You're right. Why stop at the shifter and the glove box. I should replace all the interior LEDs.
