Default Placed order for 2023 ES F-Sport handling

Good morning. Pretty excited. Got notification my car is being built and should arrive in about 3-4 weeks.
ES 350 F-Sport handling fully loaded. Ultra Sonic Blue Mica and the white interior.

It will look nice in my garage parked next to my White LC 500 convertible.

I haven't had a sedan in a long time. I would have gone with an SUV but Lexus doesn't have one with a straight NA V6 any longer.

I have a very long (for me) 45 minute (sometimes an hour) commute to work every day and really wanted to find some happy median that's comfortable, good on gas but not a 4 cyl or turbo engine (thus the V6) that will have longevity to it but yet be a little more up scale than an every day Honda/Toyota etc.

Excited.

Hopefully the Mark Levinson sounds better in the ES than it does in my LC.

As a follow up, is there anything such as quirks or annoyances I should be aware of for this 2023 model refresh that has changed from the 2022 besides the obvious stuff like no touch pad and cup holders etc?

How is the faux leather been holding up for everyone? Im used to cheap leather, but not pleather.

I have had nuluxe in my last three Lexus and find it holds up much better than the leather I had in the past.

Enjoy your F-Sport!

I would pick modern fake leather over real leather every time, given the choice. I have real leather and would rather not. Enjoy.

These days, fake leather has overtaken real leather; real leather wrinkles - fake leather is more free from wrinkles.
Also, artificial timber floorboards are much harder wearing than traditional timber floorboards which have to be sanded and revarnished.
Likewise these days, artificial granite is harder, wine stain resistant and superior to natural granite.
Ditto artificial vitrified tiles are harder than granite and marble tiles.

Congrats 😁 Nice Choice. I have a 22 F Sport and I’m VERY happy with it. As far as the Nuluxe goes, I’ve had my car for a year now and it practically looks the same as the day I brought her home, even without ever treating/conditioning the seats. That’s saying a lot because I live in Texas where it’s super hot.

We've had our ES 350 F Sport for a month and love it - I hope you enjoy yours. This is primarily my wife's car and I was worried that it wouldn't be perfectly comfortable for her. She loves it and has no complaints.

Thanks. I am really looking forward to it. I have a 2021 LC500 convertible with 15k miles on it and it's just not practical for a daily driver, plus I don't want to run up miles on it.

I had an old beater truck I was using to commute but with a bench seat and no cruise control, along with a weak 4 cyl, Ive just had enough. I just sold it to pay off any other debt I have minus my mortgage and whats left of my LC500 payment. So now Im in a position to just pull the trigger.

I looked at both the IS350 vs the ES350 f-sports and settled on the ES as really a more comfortable, larger commuter to last me for a good long time.

Really excited to finally get a new car in the exact color and interior I want.. No more red or black cars with bland grey interiors for me. Absolutely nothing wrong with either, but my money my choice

My ES FSport has been my daily driver for 4.5 years now. Great ride in this regard. Id love an LC as a weekend toy but haven't figured out how to convince my wife it's okay to spend that much on a toy🤔🤔

^ looks great. its how i would build mine. except for those mats. unless i worked on a turkey farm and had raw turkey meat on the bottom of my shoes, i'd go for the luxurious stock mats or even better, the plush stock mats from japan (very expensive!)

also i'd choose the hybrid engine. but the colors are great!!

i'd replace with the carpet! did they upsell you w/ rubber accessories to achieve their markup?

this is what they did with my friends recent purchase of a 2023 civic. they charged 2k markup and justified it with rubber accessories galore

No no. I asked for all weather floor mats. Its just my preference. Im not a fan of cleaning carpet. Thats the only rubber stuff in the inside.
