Default pardon me

hi. badblackgs here. I get what your doing and applaud your enthusiasm. from my experience I think your best bet would be to use the 2uz 4.7 block. its cast iron and more durable. if you go throwing 500 or 800 horsepower a the thin cylinder walled 3uz than itll possibly ruin those fancy new pistons youll have bought to make work. and yes, your gonna need fancy new custom forged pistons since no one makes them off the shelf for our 3uz. when i called all the piston manufactures they all ran about 2 grand for pistons. not including rods. i feel the 2uz out of the tundra would be better since its cast iron and larger displacement.
Tom a bullet cars is a nice guy but has been talking about 3uz supercharger kit for yearssssssss now. so dont hold your breath. i said screw it and bought the 2uz supercharger manifold without intercooler and had to cut the height down substantially to fit under the hood with the supercharger. bc i had no intercooler on a 10:5 to 1 compression ratio engine i had to run meth injection. it worked amazing up to 9 psi. than the horsepower ***** got me and i installed a ported supercharger case taking it up to 12 psi. that broke four of the eight pistons.
