Default What are the guidelines for the photoshop forum?

What are the guidelines for the photoshop forum?

1. Please post or attach picture(s) of the original copy of what you want photoshopped. Good quality and big resolution photos are preferred.

2. If you request RIM chops, please try to provide a picture of the rims on the best angle closest representing the angle of your car. Tip: it is better to provide a rim picture you want that is mounted on a car so the final chop can be more realistic.

3. If you want a color change be specific in the color wanted.

4. If you are requesting to make something out of scratch...please be as specific as possible.

5. For signature banners, post the pictures you would like to use for your signature and give a brief description of any style, ideas, and text you would like to include on the banner as well. Please keep in mind that all signature banners must be within the 450 pixel by 100 pixel dimension and under 50 KB.

note: please be patient with all photoshop requests. all photoshoppers on this forum are volunteers who donate their precious free time to assist Club Lexus members. Sometimes they may be tied up with other projects or work. Be nice, be patient, and your request will eventually be answered by the next available photoshopper.

Thank you.

Default What is the maxium dimension and file size for signature banners?

What are the guidelines for Signatures?

When members make posts in the forum, they have a choice to include their own signatures at the end of their posts. It gives members a chance to customize their username on the forum more and in some cases help people remember you. However, in order to avoid members having too large of a signature ClubLexus has laid down rules on the sizes of the signatures as well.

You are limited to no more than 100 characters (spaces included) in your signature. On top of that, you are allowed to have a picture of no larger than 450 pixels wide and 100 pixels high. The picture can be jpeg, gif, or bmp, but the overall size cannot be larger than 50KB. You are not allowed to have any kind of advertising in the signature as well.

For every signature there cannot be any kind of offensive or inappropriate content, for example:

1. Pornographic
2. Racism
3. Foul language
4. Violence
5. Tobacco
6. Alcohol

Any inappropriate signatures will be removed immediately and a warning will be sent out to individual member. In serious or repeated cases ClubLexus reserves the right to suspend the memberships. Please use your judgment to create your signatures. If you have any questions regarding you signature please contact the administrator at administrator@clublexus.com.

Default How do I upload my signature banner on Club Lexus?

How do I upload my signature banner on Club Lexus?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

First, save the signature pictures in your lexus gallery, try the following:

1. Right-Click the signature picture(s) you like and select "Save Picture As". Save it anywhere on your computer where you can locate it again.

2. Upload the pictures you saved on your computer into your lexus gallery for easy access.

note: to upload pictures to your gallery, click the gallery link on top of this page or any CL pages and then choose upload photos link located near the top right of the page. once you uploaded them, you can then check them out in "My Gallery".

Then, once you have uploaded the signature banners into your album, try the following:

1. right click the signature banner picture you like to use and choose properties.

note: be sure to right click the actual picture instead of the thumbnail picture. left click the thumbnail picture in your album to see the full picture. Thumbnail picture is much smaller than the standard signature banners you see on this forum.

2. the property window will pop up, you will see the field "Address: (URL)", on the right of it, you will see the hyperlink. you want to highlight the whole address and use CTRL-C on the keyboard or right click the highlight and select "COPY".

3. go to "update your profile" and paste (CTRL-V) or right-click and select paste the hyperlink you copied in between the image commands like below.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

click Tools, Update Profile. then in your signature box add the following text:

"[img]"http://YourSignaturePictureLink.com"[/img]"

note: must take out (remove) ALL the quotation marks.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

and you should be all set.

Thank you.

Default How do I attach pictures to my post?

How do I attach pictures to my post?

Method A: Attaching One Picture under 100 KB

1. You may perform this task when STARTING or REPLYING a thread.
2. Locate the section titled Attach file.
3. Click Browse button.

4. Locate and Select the image file you wish to attach on your computer's harddrive.
tip: make sure the image does not exceed the maxium file size limit of 100 KB

5. Click OPEN button.

When you post your message, the picture will show up within the post.

Method B:

If the picture is uploaded somewhere on the internet, like in your ClubLexus gallery you can link directly to it in your posts/threads.This way you can attach multiple pictures if you like to one post.To do this you will need to A.) locate the picture B.) right click on the picture(if the pic is a thumbnail taking you to the original sized picture then you want to right click on the original sized picture NOT the thumbnail). After you right click on it go to "Properties" (see figure B). Highlight the address then right click and select "copy".
Come back to your post/thread and in the "message" field right click and select "paste".Once your address is pasted you will add this tag to the beginning "[img]" and this tag to the end of the address "[/img]".IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU REMOVE THE QUOTATION MARKS FROM THE IMG TAGS.You will end up with something that looks about like this MINUS THE QUOTATION MARKS:

"[img]"https://www.clublexus.com/gallery/data/500/7496properties.jpg"[/img]"

Just repeat this process to attach multiple pictures.

Thank you.
