Default ISS Forged Exhaust

Does anyone on the forum have this exhaust? If so do you like it? How is the drone sound?

Which version? There is the QES, which is very loud and has a very pronounced sound that projects greatly. And there is the DES, which is a bit more tame, but not by much. I've heard both in person, by the systems themselves and with headers. ISS QES exhaust and headers is mind-numbing and fun to rev in a crowd- that's for sure.

QES version here. Cons...it's loud! Pros...it's loud! In all seriousness, when I'm by myself and certain friends I can care less about the drone. This version drones really loud between 1100-1900rpm. The system itself is very rare, well built, and definitely is an attention grabber. I dont have headers, but I'm aware Unequal Length versions will amplify the sound tremendously. Which I won't mind but the drone will be beyond unbearable.

I've had the QES for 4 years or so. At the time, it was the only "real tip" option and looked super aggressive. The noise has been described as exotic by pedestrians. I still haven't switched it because I can't get enough of it.
Reverberates a lot. If it does drone at this point, it's just below my threshold (I drive other cars which do nothing but drone).

Fack! And its V band now?! QES with single wall tips and a pair of resonators would be perfect.

X an H piped, interesting. They must have done some redesign to help with the drone...

I wish you well with that exhaust. But, IMHO, there are way to many welds, and the welding work looks very sloppy. Also the "X" pipe is a generic piece available from any Mom & Pop exhaust shop. That's just me.

Just look at the attached weld.

it has been on my mind lately on how the welds look. I am really concerned of flow and leakage after a while.

I'd be more concerned about leakage. Yeah those welds don't look clean. Wish the best for you .
