Default 4RX strong instrument panel glare

Got a 2017 RX 350 AWD a week ago. Really like the car. But noticed strong instrument panel reflection. The 2 attached pictures show the comparison. Anyone else noticed this? Is there anything can be done to at least reduce it some how?

I found myself having the exact same problem here in Florida, where the sun is so strong all day long. I realized the glare is from the from windshield. But there is nothing I can do to fix it. I just lean forward to read the panel.

Wow that's crazy. Shot in the dark...the contrast/brightness isn't cranked up is it?

The 2 pictures were shot parted by 3 minutes. The only difference is one was taken under sun light and another was in a bright garage, The in door one was shot with nature daylight and there was no contrast nor brightness adjustment.
I have owned many cars made by different manufactures. This is my first Lexus and it's the first one shows this strong glare.
I have seen a similar problem posted in CL for GX but haven't seen one for RX.
My RX AWD is a good car. But honestly I have a hard time to believe Lexus' engineers didn't see this kind reflections when testing and didn't find a solution to at least reduce it.
It's really annoying since the reflections is just too strong.

I wonder if the old "anti-glare" stuff from when computer screens were CRT would do it.
Sold in spray.

But personnaly I don't have this problem.

I tried this morning to replicate your glare and couldn't. Maybe you should check with the dealer as this does not seem right.

Have not noticed it in the 6 weeks I have had my 2017RX 350 but I do get glare at times in my 2015 RC 350

I'm planning to contact my dealer and compare other RXs that are with the same options in their lot with mine under the same daylight condition to see if they have the same amount reflections. Hopefully, the problem is my RX. In that case, I'm sure Lexus will fix it. If all the RXs are having the same glare problem, I don't know what I can expect - it's not a too big problem. Lexus probably won't do anything with it other than tell me "it's normal". But to me, the strong glare takes too much away from otherwise a very pleasant driving experience.

I had a similar issue with my IS. When the sun was lined up just right and the sunroof was open the sun would wash out the display completely.

JDR76, do you ever see the glare when your sunroof is closed? In my case (when I took the reflection picture), my roof was closed.

I don't have my IS anymore, but I don't recall ever having an issue when I had the sunroof closed.

Here is mine at 1 PM facing North with sunroof closed.

There is glare but I have no problem seeing it. It's sunglass weather too so with sunglasses I can prob see it very clearly.

I think the OP was just having issues with the sunlight hitting at a bad direction as I have not had any issue except momentarily. I have no complaints about the instrument panel and reflections.

Thanks for all the replies. I will contact my dealer and compare other RX's in their lot. But I now believe it's not only my RX. Some of us are not bothered too much by this kind glare. Totally understand that. To me, it's not that I cannot read the instrument panel when there is reflection in my RX. I can but I'd like to read the panel easier and clearer. And compare to my other cars in the same situation I think/expect Lexus can do at least the same if not better.
