those look nice but since I'll most likely swap a 2jzgte (yes Craig, I'll most likely leave it automatic) I'll end up putting a 3" hks exhaust so I probably won't do anything with it at this point. But I might... I change my mind a lot and waste a bunch of money for absolutely nO reason except boredom. See this for example:
Built an air intake cause I was bored and a friend of mine sent me a picture of one so I took it as a personal challenge.
Yes, I know it actually robs horsepower and No, I don't really care. The car is slow right now anyway.
jimmy, your car is incredible AND inspiring!!! I've had 3 SCs and this makes me want a 4th!!!
also, im in eastern iowa, iowa city area, where at in illinois are you located? id like to both see your car in person sometime, AND take my GS to your body shop, they do INCREDIBLE work!!!
oh I've looked at your build thread a hundred times lol
i am really interested in the coil overs you currently have for sale but I just can't pull the trigger yet
You have time. I think they'll be for sale for a while or I'll be putting them back on my car. I have some cheap tein coils on my car right now, and they're awful in comparison to the HKS. The car doesn't feel nearly as stable at higher speeds.

I'm about 20 miles north of Chicago on Lake Michigan
yes, Fort Sheridan. And Lexus of Highland Park did all of my body work. I am the Service, Parts, and Body Shop Director so that helped lol
well you have some damn good bodywork techs there! I'm just going to stick with my stock matador red mica color, but i want to get some dings cleaned up and the fenders rolled flat, and cleaned up as well.
Got my mufflers (tanabe medallion) and finished my intake (still building the cold air box) and it sounds good for now. Gonna paint the engine bay when I relocate the battery in a couple weeks.
I got the catback Tanabe Medallions on my GS430 (Dmitry's old car). Idk how it sound son a 2JZ but on the 4.3 it sounds amazing. I think the best blend of deep sound and quite for daily driving anyone could ask for!
The good thing is that exhaust is stainless so after all these years of daily driving and over 110k miles of use they still look brand new.
Nice choice on the tanabe medallion. It sounds great inside the car and it isn't excessively loud for people around you.
It was the first exhaust I ever bought for the sc, and I remember I had to sell them because my mpg was so awful since I would drive with a lead foot just to hear them. Haha
