ive wondered this for years...but why do people put on those darkish license plastic covers? why?? someone please help me with a good reason.
I have those. There's no "good reason" but my reasons are that tags get stolen quite frequently around here, and smoked looks better with a tinted car than clear in my opinion. Maybe someone else has a different reason but those are mine.

ah, i see. I didn't even think about the stolen tags.
Spent the day washing all 5 cars.. ISF recently had the roof wrapped in 3M carbon and got new 2014 LED headlights.
Next up for ISF, motor mounts, tires and new cats (rotten egg smell)
RCF is going to get the carbon wrap and wheels painted matte black. Then maybe the RR SC after its paid down a bit

I have some extra tape I'll send you for free of you want it. I had half of a roll left over from my install. I absolutely love the blacked out trim look.
