#2IS Caliper Painting (merged threads)
I'd say if you want it to stand out its fairly simple - any color that isn't black. Considering your car is black, it probably helps out a lot if your calipers are any other color. Personally I'd go with yellow or orange if you really want to be seen/stand out. Blue/white decal and red/gold decal look the nicest imo. Won't get as much attention as having yellow or orange but definitely look nicer.

I used the G2 High Temp Blue Caliper paint kit from Amazon. It is brushed painted on and it flows out glossy and hard, it is an epoxy paint made for calipers to withstand the high heat.
The kit comes with a big can of brake cleaner to help remove any grease and a brush that is so small it's useless. Easy and looks good, just tape off the sections you don't want to paint and brush on the caliper paint.

Then I put high temp caliper decals on from ebay...spray canned a couple coats of clear over the decals

Im sure it's a good alternative caliper paint....
but..... it also says works best with a primer which they sell for another $16 or so. Then needs to follow with a clearcoat afterwards.
The G2 caliper paint is a one step paint , it comes with a hardener which makes it very durable and don't need clearcoat afterwards,.. unless you put decals on then you would want to clear over them.
The G2 paint dries with a high gloss finish....but its like $38, its a high quality paint kit though...and it comes with a big can of brake cleaner.
So in the end the VHT calier paint would end up about the same costs but with a 3 step process, ....primer, spray then clearcoat. lots of taping because you are spraying.
I like the G2 paint brush way cause less taping, one step just paint and let dry...and it's more precise to paint it by hand imo.
So the VHT may be good but I think a better choice is the G2 caliper paint kit.

No,... I was able to paint all four calipers with a little paint left over , but the leftover paint does not keep.. after you add the hardener the paint will harden after a few hours so whatever is left will become hard. Its a epoxy paint so it dries very hard and durable.
Enough paint to paint all four calipers easily.

Repainted my calipers green yesterday. I wasn't sure if I would like it but I'm pleased with the results.
