I rarely replace my cars and usually drive them until they die. My IS replaced a bunch of things I used to drive. My 94 Acura Legend was my daily drive for many years (since new) until my wife decided to make it hers. I then bought a 91 BMW 850i (back in 1999) which was my daily driver for a year or two until I found it to nice (and really bad in the winter) to drive on a daily basis and it turned into a weekend car. Then back to my 94 Legend when my wife got a new Durrango. Then started working out of the house, so my fathers Legacy Wagon and the Legend became the daily beaters until I finally broke down to get myself something nice. My daughter now drives the Legend, the Subaru went to car heaven, and the Bimmer now stays under a cover and used as a weekend/show car. Here's my 850 and a dirty Durango (with the Acura in the back ground); 1991 BMW 850i with 57k

Mine was an 07 Focus SES sedan with auto.
Sure is nice not hearing the buzzy engine and terrible seats of the Focus anymore.
But I do miss it's simplicity. When I was commuting daily, that thing could handle the mileage like nothing.
This is my first Japanese car (I insisted on Jap built, not American built Jap cars like the Camry etc.), after years of Euro cars.
I'm really enjoying not dealing with incessant repairs/maint. which is why I didn't go with another BMW.
I'd always heard great things about Lex reliability and I agree. It's a nice feeling. Boring, but nice.
Before buying my IS250 I had a 1991 Honda Civic that I converter to an SiR model. Man I miss that car, but huge ride difference going from my little Civic to a luxury Lexus with all the bells and whistles. Lol.
Replaced a 07 navigator got Totaled and it was a total blessing in disguise. I'm in LA horrible traffic driving 150+ miles a day getting 8-9mpg. Do the math I probably spent $100 on gas (in LA,CA) every 1.5- 2 days
