The question is for what ? when the longblock is a stock JDM GTE . A lot of people are carried a way with what they hear , read or see on the internet .... or what is pretty .
PEOPLE -> the stock GTE intake manifold can get you to +1000rwhp . And 99% of people building a performance car are not even trying to get 1000rwhp. It only becomes a restriction after around 1100rwhp. So stop wasting your money into modifying that GTE intake not unless you are trying to get more than 1100rwhp.
EDIT : making your plenum bigger just makes the system more laggy and won't be as responsive. So if it is not needed on your power goal , it is wise to leave it alone.
