First post here. Been into euro's mostly. VR6 GTI then e46 BMW. Bought the IS from a family member so it's been in the family since new. It's def not quick, but it's still a nice car. Hopefully 4x4 mode won't last long lol

Temporary 17" Axis wheels (bought by previous owner)
Have a few plans, wheels, suspension, few interior bits. Nothing crazy. Just want a nice driver.

I'm from the GTA area in Canada but the car is American it was imported pretty early in its life. All service records up to date and recalls completed.
118k Miles
Im coming from a B16 swapped civic, so the power upgrade is nice but I miss driving stick at times.
Plans:
Nothing really to be honest. Maintenance, maintenance and maintenance. This was just a graduation gift from me-to-me. If anything I'll get some coils and minor cosmetic stuff (tints, wheels).
Other Considerations:
I was car shopping for about 6-7 months and pulled the trigger on the 350, but I was looking into 06-07 g35 coupes(too many annoying issues about oil consumption and terrible electronic system). Also considered an is250 AWD (for winter of corse) but way too many people mentioned the risk of carbon build issues and that the 350 with winter tires will be good enough.
I actually really wanted a FR-S, but I was turned off by the lack of knowledge that some of the dealers had about the cars. Plus they didn't really take me as a serious buyer. Regardless, I'm happy and it puts me in a better position financially anyways.
I'll post a picture soon once its picture ready lol.
Most likely going to keep the car for a couple of years and trade it for a newer Lexus.
RC or IS if I have little minions running around by then.
p.s I use the search button an extensive amount so I probably won't post many questions; as the majority of answers can be found somewhere here but I do want to say thank you in advanced to all of you that contribute.

2009 IS250, RWD, No Spoiler, Blue, cream interior. This is the first time I've bought a Lexus and it will be my last. Bought it CPO; had problems with the dealer over non-factory tint that they didn't tell me about. The tint interferes with with radio reception when the defroster is turned on. I told my dealer this when I brought it in for service and the best they offered was free labor and I pay for a new back glass. This was after a service writer accused me of damaging my car. The leather in the driver's seat split. Sorry sir, not covered under warranty. The trunk release button has melted. This is covered in other threads. It'll cost 400$ to have it fixed. It might be covered under warranty, but I doubt it. So I bought the car in November of 2015 and I will have spent over 1200$ on repairs since then. This is the relentless pursuit of perfection? BMW's are a great deal more fun than this.
