My favorite. Black with black interior. Almost went with the Nebula but the black, when clean and waxed is awesome to me.

 

Nice. I like the nebula on my LS, I wish it were a tad darker but it hides stuff well.

I seriously considered going to a big SUV before I got the LS, both because I missed having an SUV in the family when we traded our Jeep for the van, and because I wanted to take advantage of the Section 179 deduction. Had the refreshed LX been out I very well may have gotten that. The LX at the time lacked the new Lexus infotainment and tech I was used to with the GS, and I was worried about reliability with something like a Range Rover.

What are some of your thoughts vs your RX?

It is HEAVY. Driving habit change. The RX was like a sports car that you can zip in and out of traffic where the LX is more like a ship where starting and stopping takes more effort. The ride is very smooth and there is almost no engine or transmission noise, quite isolated from the outside world while windows are up. 65mph yielded 21mpg on the highway but get off the highway into stop and go traffic and the mileage reminds you that it weighs 6000lbs. Interior is huge and comfortable.

LOL, sounds like a Lexus advertisement.
