Red face Tired of plain Jane

I am looking to spruce up my gs because it's a very basic looking car and I want it to look different from the rest. Was thinking of dipping my wheels but didn't think it will look right could I dip the inner spokes for a two toned look? Either gloss black or the whole rim in a dark red cherry like

Might look good without a drop since the car is a dark color the wheel gap will blend in.

Save the money. Invest in an index ETF or a no load mutual fund. When it is time to retire, you will be pleased that you did not waste your money on some sort of silly colored wheels or magic springs. Been there and done that.

WTF? What are we doing in a forum about cars which you know, historically have a horrendous depreciation rate?
Why aren't you on an investment forum investing your time more wisely instead?

Listen...there's nothing wrong with your advice but i doubt those "magic" little springs, which cost a whopping total of $200 are going to cause irrevocable harm on his financials.

So in the end spending 50k on a car is ok but spending $200 on springs and selling them after a couple of years for around 150$ is not?
Id like to see you get that much back when you trade in your GS.

I do. Not as frequently like you seem to though. I take pictures of my mileage when I pass certain mileage milestones.

Damn, I just noticed how bad your cruise range is even with that much gas still in your tank. What's your gas mileage like?

You don't need 20".
Aftermarket 18" will look nice, yet maintain your good ride.

Here's a picture of my car from last night. I average about 24-25 miles per gallon. I drive 60% hwy /40% city. Type of driving style plus fuel quality makes a big difference.

See how I still have a 213 cruise range even though I'm my needle in the gauge is still lower then in your pic. I was just surprised to see yours isn't as great. I bet it may have to do with the NY traffic.
