Wow, I have to agree that the black looks so much better than the other colors. It may be the only color I do like because I think it hides some of the more confusing design elements.
The Motortrend photo gallery shows the black and white 350 f sport. Why are the headlamp assemblies different. The white one only has one projector vs 2 in the black IS. Think the black IS is the best looking one yet!

I went to the Houston Car Show and they had a dark gray IS 250 non F Sport which was the color I was interested in. Trust me, it looks a lot better in person. Some people dont like the tails but in person they look more tame. I went with my dad and he likes the new IS more than the GS. Very bold looking car. It only got me interested more seeing it in person
oh god that dark grey/red F Sport IS350 in those pics above, EXACT COMBINATION I WANT
With the black Motor Trend car, it appears the rear lights are individually LED's instead of light tubes (?)! Someone tell me Lexus did not go backwards here. The entire line-up has been getting light tubes!

I think like most taillights, there are both elements. Tubes for the signature fine lighting designs and then individual LED's for the braking illumination, etc.
I had a loaner 2012 IS350 and man, the ride is pretty hard. I'm guessing that this won't be any different. Kinda sad as I'm really looking forward to getting an IS. But if the ride isn't smooth, it's a turn off.

That's the beauty of the adaptive variable suspension (AVS) Set it to "Normal" and you're good to go.
The new GS has a similar AVS system and the wide range of road conditions it can tackle is astounding. The new IS should be more of the same.
