It's probably proprietary info but if I was an LFA owner, I would want that box of data for my collection, or even a copy of it...

 

I've chatted with TTAC in the past and they are a great bunch. In particular Jack Baruth has me lol. Kudos and KUDOS to TTAC for this incredible feature and looking at the comments it has attracted true gearheads and enthusiasts who are reading it in its entirety and can appreciate the passion behind the LFA.

This is great journalism and we need more of it.

Fun factoids: 8 days for production followed by 8 days of QC

 

So by the sounds of what the chief engineer said, there is something in the works after the Lexus LFA, which he jokingly referred to as "LFB".

 

Hehe 8 days to rack up 30-100+ miles.

A couple observations:
1- Based on his diary, the LFA chief did/does care about lap time around the 'Ring.
2- The LFA is a true exotic article based on how it's built alone.

 

Looks like its our first look at color code "9H7" ~ "Cyrstal Gold "...

These photos were shot within minutes of each other... The bottom raw photo would look just a tad bit better if the brightness was cleaned up... Like the top one..

JoeZ, thank you so much for the nice, large pictures! It reminds me of the Top Secret Gold. Perhaps it was the inspiration for Lexus to offer such a wonderful color!

 

Definitely not a US bound car. Has a rear fog lamp.

 

I didn't pay much attention to this color on the configurator or in the official sample display, but it was one of my favorites in Gran Turismo 5.

Hope we get some more images of it eventually, or another Crystal Gold somewhere.
