I have to give credit where it's due...

Lexus is offering three interior leather colors this time around, which is a nice upgrade from two before. Ecru, Sepia, and Black.

I can't quite tell what color Sepia is...looks like a muddy dark brown.

Sepia interior has got to be one of my favorite new interior colors for the new GX. The color is a nice brown/eggplant color. I think it's a winner. Hopefully it will make its way to future Lexus interiors.







Remember how you were commenting on how bland the interiors looked in other models....this should hopefully change your mind.

what is the difference between the African bubinga wood and the regular wood? i guess the wood grain is a little nicer...

 

I suppose the darker colors on the GX 460, kind of makes me warm up to it , but I still need to see it in person.

 

Not too much difference other than the grain details.

The new GX looks very sharp in dark colors.

 

I still can't get over how stupid those headlights look.


The rest is okay for a truck-based SUV I guess. Glad they're starting to adopt the split center armrests, dual RSES, and...*gasp* HID headlights!Wonder why none of the GX's competitors needs such an odd shape to meet the height requirement for HIDs.

 

If anyone has access to both 1GX and 2GX, I'd like to see a difference in height from the floor to the center of the projectors. It'd be funny if the 2GX projectors are actually sitting higher than the 1GX's
