From my direct sources, there were only 52 GS350's w/Redline interior that were shipped to the US. There was no advertising of any sort, it was just thrown into the mix. They were all Obsidian with Black/Red interior. 2 of them ended up at Longo Lexus here in SoCal.

Ryan any word on the # of 450hs and 460s?

52? That is so rare thats not even funny...one a state and for a couple territories...

 

 

Seriously... I think it was strictly for GS350 only. Rare is right. Even some of the guys at HQ had no clue!

 

I've tried to order the floor mats from several dealers and no one has them.

Some simple state they never keep them in stock as it can only be ordered from the factory upon purchase of the special order vehicle.

Others had no idea what I was speaking about, even after I gave them the product number.

One dealer did state that I can order them providing that I already have the passionate black interior but they have to check my vin number and name to verify.


Does anyone know where I can get these floor mats. I think is red lettering adds a nice touch to the interior. I've already tried my local dealers in GA and the two vender's from Clublexus.

 

They're doing this a lot with special edition Lexus vehicles. The dealers are starting to check VIN #s and names before you order the special edition parts. I have a black leather interior and always wanted the Pebble Beach red floor mats for my SC430. I got lucky and found them on Craigslist for $40 in decent condition. I finally have my "red/black" interior. haha. GL with the search. If I find out something I'll post back here

 

So whats the deal with these? are they going to be available anytime soon or are they simply a limited edition type of thing? Does anyone know if/when it will be available?

 

I'm not a fan, I like my classic black interior better. Actually, I like the red accent pieces to a point but the red carpeting is just too much for this kind of car. It reminds me of something Chevy or Ford would put in their teenager marketed low end cars.

imo, the interior looks AWESOME ! But..not for this car. Maybe for the GS-F or something. The 350 is not that special to have this interior.

I wonder who did buy those GS 350's though????
