You'd be surprised. I've had mine to ~170 and it was amazingly calm and composed for the speed, didn't feel anywhere near that fast. And my car isn't as nice as most of the cars on this site.

yea...going that fast is not a problem at all. I have been up there...However going that fast plus a BIG BOOM and then it had to cause some reflex change and energy change on the car so yea...wow that would be interesting.
Xcply with everyting that he added of h rated tires, I am guessing no upgraded brakes or full suspension setup(this is a guess I have no fact) . eeeeccckkkk
It is fixable, but you'd probably have an easier time getting a new engine in and build that instead. Need to get the piston out to be sure, but IMO I'd start looking for a new engine.

yep stock suspension, brakes are just drill and slotted with ceramic pads
p.s. any rich person with more money want to sponcer
dont wont to take out loan for ($70000 guessing still waiting for quote for gasmotorsports)
Heady goal, good luck with it. What turbo do you plan on running? TurboB6 has a 3.4L and a GT47-88, so I hope you're planning on doing some big things to take him down. And he's not even the fastest SC300 in the world.
Seriuosly man before you go off with the big mouth, your "breakdown" list of parts isn't even close. You blew amotor with 275 max hp due to your mechanical ability, and now you think you're ready for a world record? Gotta love the enthusiasm and I wish you luck with it but like I said on NA-T you need to take a step back and rethink this. I would seriously not talk any more about "world fastest" anything right now..... when you're asking if a motor is rebuildable. Not to mention you couldn't do some simple troubleshooting to figure out what was wrong with your car like a month ago. Yes I am being a ***** as usual but take it for what it's worth. Make a realistic goal and build yourself a nice weekend warrior that will tank 99% of the cars out there and besafe in the process instead of building a 170 MPH death trap that endangers yourself and others.
first off month ago i sent it to repair shop to get fixed
because i got sick of pulling the intake on and off when its 30 out side.
they never fixed it they gave up on it and told me to come get it
400 towing bill plus 300 for spark plug change.
i got the car back swap out maf didnt fix it, so i tryed swaping icv didnt fix it. pulled the ecu and had it cheaked out it was good. so then it had to be the injectors. the reson i didnt just pull the injectors first was every one said it was not them ( auto zone orellys and napa in elk city dont rent fuel pressure test kits
the intake off and swaped out the injectors and put stock ones back and replaced in fuel tank rubber hose that connected the fuelpump assbly to the fuel line in tank and change plugs
that fix my problems
the engine ran great
the problem was try to tune it my self and i never have used one and you know as well as i do that there are no good tuners in oklahoma
every place in okc and tulsa dint have a clue how to use safc
yes im not the worlds best macanic or speller. at least i try to do stuff myself
p.s. my goal is 500hp but in till i have money for stand alone
problem is tuning, timing and headgasket size
the reson for asking if it was rebuild able was with the amount of damage was not sure if it was worth rebuilding or just be cheaper to get a another motor
