No control piece. You push the AM button once and you get AM1. Push it again you get SAT1, again Sat2, again Sat 3. Push it again and you get AM1 again.
I will get to take pics this weekend

I take it that you then hit the seek button to change the channels? Does the text for the stations appear on the factory display so you know what channel you are on? If so, that is awesome.
Ok. Sorry for the delay – I got busy with other things. Here is a basic guide for installation of the Sirius in the RX330. You cannot hold me liable for anything if something goes wrong. You get the point =)
First, you will need a 10MM driver to unscrew the bolts holding in the radio. You will also need something to push the antenna wire underneath the plastic trim in the car. If you have an ID badge (plastic) or a plastic putty knife, those will work well. You will also need a small flashlight, I used a maglight (small one) which I could hold in my mouth to shine in areas that I needed.
Next, I decided I didn’t like the huge antenna that came with the kit from the lexus dealer, so I went to circuit city and spent $40 to buy a small magnetic mount antenna.
The first thing you want to do is above the passenger foot area, there is a plastic trim piece that is held in with clips. You want to pull that down. It will feel like it is going to break when you do this, but it shouldn’t. It takes a bit of force to pull it down.

Next to the left of the passenger feet there is the center console, at the very back of it (nearest the engine) there is a plastic trim piece held in by two black pieces of plastic, if you pull on that section, the black pieces will pop out and the plastic piece will come out also.

Next you will want to pull out the radio.

First, unscrew the shift **** counter-clock wise. It may take a little force to get it going, but it is easy to do.

Once you have that off you will want to pull off the wood plate there by pulling it up from the bottom section with both hands. See where my hand is in the picture to get a reference. It is held in by clips, pull up hard and it will come out. It will take some force to get it out.

Next you want to pull out the wooden panel where the heated seats are and the headlight washers. Put fingers from both hands underneath it and pull outwards – it will take a lot of force to get this out. Once it is loose, you will need to remove the wires attached to it. The wires connected to the cigarette adapter pull straight out. The other two have clips and there is an area which you can push in then pull the entire thing out.

After you have finished that, there are four 10MM bolts holding the radio in place. If you look straight into the open area, you can see two bolts easily. One on the right and the other on the left side. The other two bolts are at an angle and you will really need to bend down to see them. BE CAREFUL in this step. I lost two bolts! I will get a couple more from the dealer. If you lose them when unscrewing, they will fall down and you will never see them again.

After you have those four bolts removed, you can use both hands to pull out the radio. It is held in by clips and should come out without much problem now.
Once you have the radio pulled out/loose you can disconnect the wires and put the radio on the side. There are three connectors and two antenna wires. The wire all the way on the right (passenger side) is where the new Sirius kit will plug into.

Now, from the foot area of the passenger, you will want to push the wire for the Sirius kit through the small area up to where the radio is. You can see through the area, and if you use a flashlight you can see a direct route. It will take a little bit of wiggling to get it through. You only need a small section of the wire to get through.
Now that you have the wire there, you will connect the Sirius wires to the radio wire (which was on the right side of the radio – it is the only one that will plug into the Sirius wire) The other end of the wire on the Sirius kit will then plug back into the same slot on the radio. It is essentially creating a loop between them. Then on the very end of the cable from the Sirius kit, that connector will plug into the Sirius box that came with the kit.
*remember, with all these wires, they can only fit in one place, so this may sound confusing, but it is simple plug and play*
Now, at this point, I would probably plug in the antenna to the Sirius box and test out the system to make sure everything works before putting the rest back together.
If it works, you can put the radio back in and plug in all the wires – remember to plug in the antenna wires. Put the bolts back in place and then connect the seat heater panel and then put the plate around the shift **** back in. You can also put the shift **** back on.
Now, for the antenna, I originally put it on the dash, routed the wire behind the weather-strip and tucked behind the dash and I used double stick 3M tape to make it stick to the dash. I then decided to put it in the trunk, either option is OK to do.
In the passenger foot area, when you look in the center console, there is an open space you can push the rest of the wire from the Sirius kit in there. I put the wire in there, then put the Sirius box on the side and forced the small panel over it. I put the two black pieces back in place, and it holds the Sirius kit in place. You can put this kit wherever you want, as long as the wire is long enough.

Then, the antenna wire I put above the black plastic piece which is directly above the passenger foot rest. I then ran it behind/underneath the side panels through the car to the back seat. I ran it along the middle part of the trunk area to the rear weather-strip. I think put it on the roof next to the other antenna. You can put it wherever you want.

See the pictures for the red line to show where I put everything. When I ran the wires behind/beneath the plastic trim in the car, I used the putty knife to push the wire beneath so I didn’t have to pull out all of the trim pieces.
Then you go for a drive.
When I activated my Sirius, they told me I qualified for 12 months free because it was a lexus installed radio.
The antenna I did end up moving so there is less wire showing, but that is up to you how you want to do it.

Awesome instructions! I can't wait to do this. Thanks for posting all of the pictures. It looks like you mounted the Sirius receiver box on the left side of passenger footwell behind the trim piece. Is that correct?

Yes, that is correct. Good luck!
