My only complaint is the heated wheel is totally a gimmick unless you're always at 9 & 3 (I'm not...)
I've actually found that I only end up turning the wheel heat on for a few minutes anyways, and then after the bottom heats up, I just turn it off, its not like the wheel instantly gets cold again or something. So in the sense that its good enough to get the chill out of your hands, not so much a gimmick. The heated seats and wheel in this car are great... its enough that outside of trying to get ice off the car or whatever, it cuts down on the amount of wasted gas as it reduces the temptation to start the car and let it marinate just to make the thing warm.
The heated wheel on the luxury doesnt heat the bottom. Otherwise it would be nice! I have a 6 minute ride to work and it was -30*F some days so I would have loved if it was a bit more lol
To the OP, if you can't afford your "stripped down" GS, then you can't afford any of the German alternatives that you say has all the stuff you really want on the car. Just sayin.
Helpful tip moving forward.... go with a used car next time. I got my 2013 AWD Lux for around $22k out the door. Has everything I wanted and more and the price isn't even close to prohibitive.

I did get a used car CPO from Rockville Center Lexus the worst buy ever railed me over 40k for a 2 year old gs with 24 thousand miles. It was a very sleazy move and due to my unawareness was taken advantage of. It has been a true eye opener for me and seeing first hand how the dealer operates. Just look at their reviews on Google. Even Corporate is in the same boat with them. Always gives the dealer the benefit of the doubt over the customer.

Just an FYI Infiniti is by far leading the game over Lexus and I am considering changing over.
They have a lot more to offer than just some f badges they have twin turbo awd and a vast market in performance aspect far more advanced technology and customer needs/wants rather than selective options for different years and models.. go figure right!

You really do need to do this for yourself. Really!
Issue with the Q50 is it doesn’t feel as premium as the GS, it isn’t meant to compete with the GS a yways, it competes with the IS. Infiniti badly needs a replacement for the ancient Q70.
You should run down to Infiniti and just trade your GS since it's a better car. Man, Why did I buy my new GS in December when there was a better Infiniti out there?!
Actually, Dodge has a lot more to offer than Lexus. More features and performance for a lot less money! Hmmm, maybe I should run out to the Dodge dealer today and see what I could get on trade for my 18 GS. LOL!
