The first thing I did was pop off the wood which didn't give any access at all.

Looks like my L-Tuned sides are going up for sale then lol. I don't feel like cutting into the panel.

Minimizing the damage would be to go thru the inner door handle section, I've provided video on how it sits behind the panel to get you an idea. The cable isn't exactly that flexible so going thru the wood isn't the best idea. I've never really paid attention to whether the door handle section on the door panel is replaceable or not. But it is something to look into.

A door panel is about $72 on ebay. Probably even cheaper if you find one on Facebook pages from people parting out.

From the looks of this picture, it is easily replaceable if you must keep the one you have. Just find a donor in the same color.
