I wanted to get the rear valance on my 450h painted gloss black, it has some ridges and curves, want to make sure it's done right, also not cost an arm and a leg..

Did they blend the paint into your fenders?
How much did painting your whole front bumper cost?

 

They wanted to and preferred to blend in with my fenders but I was the one who refused that because I wanted it to be already painted so once done it could just be installed (was on a time crunch at the time and was my only car). Luckily for me everything matched perfectly but yes, blending the bumper with the fenders is there standard in these cases usually. I'll inbox you pricing details.

 

I'm getting quoted $397(not F3 Auto), it will take 4 hours, and they come to me, sound like a ripoff. What is the guy going to do, come to my driveway with rattle cans, lol. That's Saint Auto paint in Alexandria and they have a 5 star review on Yelp.

I might just take the part to a couple local places and ask.

 

Never heard of them but I never trust a mobil service with paint personally. Well with F3 at least you got a good recommendation and honestly I think the price will definitely be less than $400 to paint a rear valance black!
