Default Problem with smart key please help

My smart key keeps coming apart the top piece with the arrow on it keeps popping off the key at random with out me touching it I have been very fortunate that I have noticed this and been able to find it but this streak of luck may end and I am worried about that does anyone have any idea how to fix this issue? That top piece with the arrow on it.The piece that slides to release the key pops off leaving the piece with the spring and slider below exposed and leaving it so if I need to use the key it will not slide out.

my guess is the pin that holds the attachment (door) to access the battery is missing or broken.I haven't heard of this before in the 7 years i have been on this forum.

When you say pin you are referring to the metal pin that slides back when you push the button back to open up the I side to change the battery? I checked and everything is there I have absolutely no idea why it's doing that it's irritating honestly I am going to buy a brand new key for $100 when I get the chance or i might buy a bunch and sell them for $50 a pop I have no idea I have to figure out if it would be worth it.

Thank you for taking the time to reply though I do appreciate it.

How about simply putting a small amount of super glue on the metal tab? If it holds then it may take some effort to get it out if the battery dies. Alternatively, try cleaning the cover & pin with isopropyl alcohol & a Q-tip. Maybe there is accumulated debris that causes the cover to not fully seat in the module

Sounds like the slide piece is broken off from the part beneath that is rigidly attached to the pin. Otherwise, it should not be possible for the slide piece to come off and show the spring and pin below.
