Nice square setup - I ran the same specs on my 08 250 when I had it.. if your lowered you might rub in reverse with the 235 tires but its not big deal obvi

Thanks man. I actually tried to follow your setup (I believe) on another thread...I used the heat gun with my sons metal baseball bat to press in the inner fender lining and since then, no rubs! Going forward at least lolWhen backing out of my driveway I haven’t noticed rubbing... maybe it’s been fixed due to the heat gun trick?

looking back, what were your thoughts on spacers? Did you have any problems?
any tips outside of checking bolt torque?
You two have my favorite his/her cars, why is she taking your IS though?
I'm converting it to a daily for her. She drives alot. Like 140 miles round trip each day for work. Don' want her driving the RC anymore like that, especially on bags. So the deal is she takes my IS, she helps me buy an F!

I haven't posted a pic on this thread for a while so hopefully this helps push her to it

I'm a believer that you buy the right set of rims instead of using spacers.. but it doesn't always work that way (budgets, availability of wheels, etc.) so spacers do accomplish their purpose I just feel like it compromises structural integrity of the hub to a certain extent, as in adding longer studs and what not.. but they work for people with no issues it seems so have at'er! My friend that has a 2012 M3 uses 5mm spacers on his rear tires - that's about as much as I'd like to see spacers used for.. not 15 and 20mm
I also feel like I wasn't specific enough.. I didn't use spacers with my 08 setup
I just noticed you mentioned spacers. Any thoughts on them? They holding up well? I just installed my itchiba spacers with extended bolts today...
The build quality on my 15mm front spacers seems to be superior to the 20mm ones in the back. I've snapped off one stud on the rear one with the impact gun (taking the lug nut off); but since I had an extra set I used one of them to replace it. Other than that I've had no issues.
