I have a 2007 LS460 without the aux port in the centre armrest but I do have the rear entertainment package with the flip down screen. Can I use one of these cables to play music from my android phone?

Should be able to.
I'm more surprised you don't have the arm rest AUX port. But I'm guessing that's a Europe thing.

 

Yes , You can ....4 Pole 3.5mm Jack To Your player, put L & R RCA Stereo Audio in into the rear stereo , start playing from Your source, press source on the rear DVD remote, PRESS VIDEO button on the rear remote then open the rear screen with Your remote and close after the music starts playing ... works good

I have this on my 2008 LS600hL "President" , That's what it's called in Switzerland where I bought mine:



I also burn DVD's with the newest CD's using Roxio Creator NXT 4 and have Artist, Name of album, song titles and cover art.. Roughly 700 - 1000 songs on (320 quality) each DVD. Music can be played album for album or mixed, difficult and time consuming to find one special song though ... can be controlled from the front dvd player screen or from the backseat with the rear DVD remote.
