Thanks for the response. Yes that is what it is. I heard today via email from Lexus in Toronto that the wait list is now June 2018 and they want a $10,000 deposit to order. It will be a 2019 model. They are obviously asking MSRP.

Having seen the LC in person this past summer in red/maroon, I wasn't impressed. Seeing it last night in silver or white (hard to tell, it was night time), the lighter colors are more complimenting and really shows how nicely designed it is.

Great review Hoovey
I saw a silver one last month on the road and it was very striking

Are the LC rear seat dimensions (width and leg room) similar or close to the SC300/400?

The door had that unique pivoting hinge where it wouldn't swing out too far

Thanks sir.

LC is wider and longer, has better rear leg and hip room, SC400 has better head and shoulder room according to dimensions. Regardless its a tight squeeze.

SC400 Rear Head Room: 36.1 in. Rear Shoulder Room: 52.7 in. Rear Hip Room: 39.2 in. Rear Leg Room: 27.2 in.

LC500 Rear Head Room: 32.5 in. Rear Shoulder Room: 48.9 in. Rear Hip Room: 43.7 in. Rear Leg Room: 32.0 in.

I had a bright-yellow IS300. Yes, it's quite a novelty for a few weeks, then, Meh..... you more or less get used to it, and it's not really that big a deal any more, though mine did turn some heads for awhile.

This shows you how sad my life has become. The Honda dealer I drove the Odyssey at today is right next to my Lexus dealer. I was about to stop in and see if they had an LC I could drive, but I decided I'd rather see if they had any Odysseys next door LOL

Just means you're a smart practical family man, as the adage goes, "Happy wife, happy life."

I agree with Hoovey.....I think your wife would rather try and cart the twins around in a minivan rather than a small Lexus coupe LOL.
