Yes, and I removed the front grille. I believe the bolts were 10 mm for the fog lights.

Did you get assess though the dust cover? Why would you removed the grille?

Also, you just tapped the wire to the parking lights for the leds? Mine came with a harness, will I have to chop into the factory harness for the leds to work?

I removed the grille to run new wires for the leds, if you have the harness I think it’s plug and play.

Default 2010 to 2012 version installed on my 2012

Oem 9006 fog wire plugs right into ballast then harness goes right back to housing.
i tested everything before install. This is LED DRL portion.
Testing HID portion
Projectors are very bright but sharp cutoff. I have not been flashed yet by oncoming drivers because these projectors put the light exactly where needed and meant to handle Xenon light
Made my own harness for the LEDs using the skinny slide on wire terminals.
These work perfectly since the harness plug is so narrow..but these dont come close to each other when both are on the pos/neg posts inside plug
Added the second terminal and wire then added wire loom and wrapped it OG triple triple tight and used 9006 harness pigtail for the other end to make it look a little more professional
I had them mounted as they installed my body kit. My painter said they bolted right up to existing mount points but we could not figure out the ballast brackets so we secured those a different way and didnt use them

Video of remote for DRL LEDS
Just installed my set for my 2012. I got mine used and had to wire up the DRL led portion. I used a 12v remote control system so I can use a supplied mini key fob to turn then on and off remotely. The projector hid fogs are 100% plug n play but unlike the 2007 to 2009 version, the 2010 to 2012 like I have does not have the ballast mounted below the housing. It has a separate mounting setup.

Where did you pickup yours? Is their a OEM Part Number to search for? Might want to do a set of these on my 2010 L if I can find a set...
