Yes I have the OEM NAV on a 2003. The behavior is like you said. An intermittent issue with either a cap, but I was thinking a solid state relay that isn't turning on...

Did you change the coilpack connector housings? This is a common issue. The plastic gets brittle and won't seat correctly. I just did mine and it runs like butta now.

You MUST disconnect the CD changer from the back of the CD changer. The GROM unit Y's into the harness. I didn't think i had to but if you don't disconnect the CD changer you will get a CD error...

But it DOES do what it is supposed to do...
