Dropped off at 9:30 am, picked up at 1:30. Once the engine is cool, the whole job is less than 30 minutes of wrenching if you work slow. I bet it takes longer to do the documentation than to change...

Recall done last Friday. Drove the car this weekend. No new sounds at all. The pumps do look quite a bit different for sure. Very compact design now.

Sorry I missed the follow up on this. I would just change the oil. It's not terribly expensive unless you buy the Toyota brand stuff (total waste of money IMHO). The gearbox is a whole different...

And yet, all you have to do to get boost is push a little bit on the throttle. With nitrous you have to go WOT and be in the window (on any modern system) so you're looking at seconds with N2O vs....

The part number for the pistons in the RC F and GS F is different than the IS F. The ring end gap spec is different for the IS F and RC F compared to the GS F (GS F is considerably tighter). What...

Camber is rarely the culprit for inside or outside edge tire wear. It's almost always toe.

The first thing to do is ditch the OEM bushing at the back of the front lower control arm. It is way...

You also drive a car none of the members of this forum do. ALL manufacturers have dents in the sunroof. Google it. It is impossible to economically build a chassis that won't somehow some way bend...

Looks like they installed some sound dampening material too. That alone can make a stunning difference, but we all know manufacturers go cheap on speakers. It's a rare car indeed that actually has...

GS F Brake Notes

The light for the brakes came on a day or so ago, so I ordered new pads. From Lexus. It's the wife's car. If it were mine, I'd be ordering something from Speedfreaks, but she's happy with the OEM...

And yes, Toyota can do this easily...
