sounds like you set the pre-load too high if you do that you end up with a very stiff coilover. If you want a stock feeling car just remove the some preload.

the first sc was ad during Lexus's best days as far as quality was concerned. I agree the lc looks most similar to the sc first gen. the second gen sc was just so terrible I'm glad it died there

It's whatever you are willing to pay for it. Period. Any car over 10 years really doesn't have a book value because the condition can vary so wildly.
