For the plugs I would get the Denso double plats....

For the plugs I would get the Denso double plats. Everything else looks good. As far as the pads go, I would opt to go with Duralast Golds from Autozone. At least you know what youre getting. ...

The gs300 tail shaft didn't fit the aristo gearbox, I so had to buy a 161 tail shaft and then the 161 shaft didn't fit the gs300 diff, had to send them both off to be cut up and rejoined to suit...

The factory bolts do not have additional washers on them. Look at the design of the bolt......its integrated with it.

The grommets are primarily there to dampen the vibrations of the cover and the nuts securing it. As Aged has said there is always a possibility of the covers leaking but I would be more concerned...

Yes....use some long extensions for the top bolts....lower the trans crossmember to give you more room. I give the whole job a 5. No real gotchas.....but make sure you pull the starter...

Alignment with the studs is sort of crucial for proper vc placement. Plus why risk not have the new gaskets seal properly? Plus I like to remove the wires so that they can be inspected and repaired...
