IMHO

Tint is functional it keeps the interior temperature down in the summer. Since heat is the main enemy of leather I would keep it just for my interiors sake.

Last week lexus-parts.com (Sewell Lexus) told me it was going on sale Oct 1. Their website list it for 300.00 the 02 version was about $265.00.
