I'm sure most know to avoid it but I'd ask them about it to remind them just in case. Some tint guys cut the tint bigger than it needs to be and shove it in place and thats when stuff goes downhill.

A filter is a filter, I doubt you'd notice anything. Many people put K&N filters in with too much oil on them and the oil coats the MAF and throws MAF codes. I personally think oiling an air filter...
